Client Side
Any web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer,
Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Opera that has Adobe Flash
Player plug-in version 9 or above.
Application Server
DynamX is a J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition)
Web Application, and must be deployed to a J2EE-compliant
application server that implements the Servlet 2.3 and JSP
1.2 or later specifications. The Apache Tomcat 5.5.15 (or
above) application server is bundled with DynamX, however
it can also be deployed to IBM WebSphere, BEA Weblogic, JBoss,
or a number of other J2EE application servers with the correct
Java Virtual Machine (JVM).
Repository Database
An enterprise-class relational database, such
as Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 is required, along with the correct
JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) drivers. Regular backups
of the repository database should be performed using the database
vendor’s utilities. Application Server Host Memory 1 GB RAM
required, 2 GB recommended.
Application Server
Host Operating System Any server operating system
for which the correct JVM is available should suffice. This
would include, but would not be limited to, Windows, Solaris,
Linux or AIX. External Data Sources Any relational database
for which JDBC drivers are available can be used as an external
data source to provide chart data.
